Baby shower- July 25,2010

Tricia, her Mom, Ann, and Clare had a very lovely shower for me and David last weekend. We played some fun games like "My water broke" (whose plastic baby will break out of the ice cube first) and "How big-'round is Laura" (cutting a piece of ribbon the size you think I am around the middle). We also painted and patched onesies. It was lots of fun and meant a lot to us. Thanks guys!

Night before flight

One of the Robin triplets fledged the night before (when I scared him walking out the front door), but these guys waited last night or this morning to leave the nest. They are such quick learners!

Our porch family

These guys made a home in the Boston ferns I hung on the porch this year. It made a very safe and happy home for them, not such a happy situation for the fern.

at least this chard leaf is bigger than I am!
